‘The Tank’ was recently renovated into a 4000 bottle, floor to ceiling, wine cellar.
This spent most of its original life as the in-ground water tank that
supplied water to the hotel from 1867. ‘The Tank’ has been lovingly reinvented as a space that houses some of the best wines from the surrounding Piccadilly region,
as well as greater South Australia, Australia and international wines.
“The build was no small task and took a lot of engineering to pull off but the
results speak for themselves. We are fiercely proud of the winemakers in the Piccadilly region and wish to showcase their amazing wines for all those visiting
our little slice of heaven.” said General Manager, Heath Johansen.

Our wine program has developed and grown into a solid offering of local and international must haves for which we have received a three glass rating by the Australian Wine List Awards 2021.
